Terms and Conditions

Rules for using Schedule Builder, including accounts, schedules, sharing, subscriptions, and acceptable use.

Last updated October 11, 2026.

On this page

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Schedule Builder, including the website, builder, account features, shared schedule pages, embeds, support tools, push reminders, and paid subscriptions.

By creating an account with email/password or by using Google or Microsoft sign-in, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use account-only features.

1. Eligibility and account responsibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account until you notify us of unauthorized access.

You may use Schedule Builder without an account for local planning features, but account-only features such as syncing, sharing, support history, branding, and subscription management require a registered account.

2. Your schedules and connected services

You keep ownership of the schedules, text, branding, logos, images, and other content you create or upload to Schedule Builder.

You give us permission to host, store, process, format, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate the service, including syncing your schedules, generating exports, rendering shared pages, and showing embeds you choose to publish.

Some account features may let you import information from third-party services you choose to connect. You are responsible for having permission to use that information. Connected-service features are subject to the applicable provider’s terms and our Privacy Policy.

Connect a calendar offers Import once (the default editable selected-week snapshot for unconnected schedules) or Keep in sync (Pro). Existing connections preselect Keep in sync; Import once stays unavailable until explicit disconnect and successful cloud adoption. Choosing a mode does not enable sync. Automatic calendar sync requires explicit setup and enable by an eligible Pro, trial, or administrator schedule owner, with cloud-save and readiness protection. It reads the requested current or selected week into Schedule Builder and never writes changes back to the provider. Until a successful read, the last-good snapshot retains its original week and dates, including while waiting, paused, failed, or offline. Synced source events are protected from owner and collaborator edits; local weekly events, private notes, and tasks remain separate. Loss of eligible access pauses reads. Disconnect deletes connection credentials and retains any successful snapshot, including an empty week, as an editable snapshot frozen on the last-good week. A connection that never produced a snapshot leaves ordinary week settings unchanged on disconnect. Portable copies and JSON exports/imports likewise detach the connection and preserve those dates, not a newer pending request. Provider availability, authorization, polling, retries, and service capacity affect freshness; we do not guarantee instant updates or a fixed delivery time. Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do, and Apple Reminders are not integrated.

3. Sharing and embeds

When you create a share link or embed code, the schedule information you publish can be viewed by anyone who has the link or access to the page where you embedded it. Published links are not password protected. Do not publish private or sensitive information unless you are comfortable making it available that way.

Publishing a connected schedule may expose changing synced calendar events and available descriptions, which are always included through the same public link or embed. Disconnecting stops future calendar reads but does not unpublish the retained snapshot; stop public access separately.

You are responsible for having the rights to publish content, branding, and images. Private background images require owner or authorized current-collaborator access; public access depends on an active publication that references the image. Configured branding-logo URLs can be public while the owner has eligible access. Previously downloaded or cached copies cannot be recalled.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Schedule Builder to break the law, infringe intellectual property rights, distribute malware, interfere with the service, scrape private data, spam other users, or publish content that is fraudulent, abusive, or harmful.

You may not attempt to bypass plan limits, access controls, billing flows, or security protections, and you may not reverse engineer service-side functionality except where the law clearly allows it.

Some features are available only on a paid Pro plan. Review the price, currency, billing interval, applicable taxes, and any trial and renewal terms shown before confirming your purchase. Trial eligibility and duration can differ between payment providers and accounts.

Subscriptions purchased in the Android app use Google Play Billing; web subscriptions use Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. If an eligible free trial is offered, paid recurring billing begins after the trial unless you cancel before it ends. We do not store your full payment-card number.

Signing out, uninstalling the app, or deleting your ScheduleBuilder account does not cancel an active Stripe or Google Play subscription. Cancel a web subscription through the web account billing controls and a Play subscription through Google Play using the Google account that purchased it. A subscription that may still renew can prevent account deletion. Cancellation stops renewal, not a charge already incurred, and is not a refund request.

A pending Play payment does not activate Pro. If payment may have completed but confirmation failed, use Retry verification or Restore purchase in the Android app rather than purchasing again. Restoration does not create a new purchase or charge and requires the original ScheduleBuilder account and purchasing Google account. It does not transfer purchase ownership or restore deleted schedules or device-local drafts.

For billing or refund questions, contact info@schedulebuilder.net and identify the payment provider without sending payment-card details. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights, including any cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights that apply under local law.

6. Service changes and availability

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time. We try to avoid breaking changes, but we do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or remain unchanged.

The service is provided on an as-available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that all content will be preserved forever, so you should keep your own copies of important schedules and exports.

7. Intellectual property

Schedule Builder, excluding your own content, includes software, design, branding, and other material owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable law.

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the app for its intended purpose. This does not transfer ownership of the service or any underlying intellectual property to you.

8. Support and communications

If you contact support through the app, you agree that we may use those messages to troubleshoot your issue, respond to you, and improve support operations.

Support conversations use automatic translation through OpenAI. You may write in any language; replies are translated into the detected request language. Originals remain available. Translations may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable; you can still read original messages and send replies. This does not promise support staff who speak your language. Avoid sharing sensitive information.

Transactional messages about account access, security, billing, and major service changes may be sent as part of operating your account. Marketing messages, if any, are separate from these operational communications.

9. Termination and account deletion

You may stop using the service at any time and can delete your account through the app or request help at info@schedulebuilder.net. Successful deletion removes your account, owned cloud schedules and private tasks, persistent calendar-sync credentials and connections, sign-in identities, support tickets, and push subscriptions, and ends account sessions. Uploaded images are queued for asynchronous deletion. Limited billing-ownership, audit, and cleanup records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy; deletion does not erase device-local drafts or records held independently by payment providers.

Cancel any Stripe and Google Play subscriptions before requesting account deletion. Play purchase verification in progress or a provider outage can delay deletion. Deletion does not issue a refund. Retained Play purchase ownership prevents a newly created account, even with the same email address, from reclaiming the deleted account’s purchase. Sections that reasonably should survive termination, including obligations already incurred and applicable ownership, liability, and dispute provisions, continue after account closure, subject to mandatory consumer rights.

10. Disclaimers and liability limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schedule Builder is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.

If the law does not allow some of these limits, our liability will be limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. When we do, we will update the last-updated date and may provide additional notice for material changes.

Your continued use of account features after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
