Before you begin

  • Use your own schedule or a privately shared schedule where you have edit access.

Edit event details

  1. Select the event in Grid or List view to open its editor.

  2. Change its title, days, times, description, icon, colors, or all-day setting.

Change the selected days and times here, then save your changes.
  3. Select Save changes, or choose the scope beside the save button for linked days. The schedule shows the updated event. If the title is empty, the event is named Untitled event.

Move an event

In Grid view, drag the event to another time or visible day. Its duration stays the same and the time snaps to 15-minute intervals. On a touch screen, press and hold briefly before dragging.

With a keyboard, focus the event and use the arrow keys to move it. Undo and Redo in the header can reverse or restore a recent change.

Change an event’s duration

Drag the bottom resize handle in a vertical grid, or the right handle in a horizontal grid. The shortest duration is 15 minutes. With the event focused, use Ctrl/⌘ + Up or Down to resize it.

Drag the small handle at the bottom of the event to change its end time.

Duplicate an event

  1. Save any edits to the original first. Unsaved editor changes are not included in the copy.

  2. Open the event and select Duplicate. The copy keeps its days, times, details, colors, and all-day setting, with “(copy)” added to the title.

  3. Open the copy to change its days or times as needed.

Change one day of a linked event

An event assigned to several days is linked. Editing or resizing it normally changes every assigned day. To change just one occurrence, open it and use Save this day only in the scope menu. The selected occurrence becomes a separate event, but remains part of the same series. If several separated events share that series, Save entire series applies the edited details to all of them while preserving each event’s assigned days.

Delete an event or selected day

Open the event and select Delete. For linked days, choose Delete this day only in the scope menu to remove just the selected occurrence; deleting all linked days removes every day assigned to that event. Delete entire series, when offered, also removes separated events in that series. Check the scope beside the delete button before selecting it.

The deleted event or occurrence disappears from the schedule. Use Undo in the header to reverse a recent deletion.

Other ways to add an event

In Grid view, select an empty time slot to open a new event, or drag across empty slots to choose its duration. On desktop, press N to open a new event with the keyboard.

Use Add (+) → Event to add an event from the toolbar. The + in the header creates a new schedule, not an event.

Keyboard shortcuts

In your own schedule, press ? on desktop to open the shortcut reference. Use Shift + N to create a task, K for Tasks, O for Notes, D to switch Daily / Weekly, C for Calendar, I to import a file, and F for Effects. Existing shortcuts include N for a new event, G for Grid / List, A for orientation, T for Themes, B for Background, S for Settings, E for PNG export, and H for Share.

Shortcuts do not run while you type or use a menu or dialog. You can turn off single-letter shortcuts in the shortcut reference or Settings → General. Ctrl/⌘ + Z undoes a schedule change; Ctrl/⌘ + Shift + Z or Ctrl + Y redoes it; Ctrl/⌘ + P opens Print. Text fields keep their own Undo, and task changes use their task-specific undo controls.
